Operations Officer - Administration & Finance

Do you have experience in administration, finance, and legal matters? TinkerHub Foundation is seeking a versatile Administration and Finance Officer to join our dynamic team.

Role Description

As our Administration and Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in our operations at TinkerHub Foundation. You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of administrative tasks, overseeing the organization's finances, and ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations.


  • Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring resources are well-maintained and available. Supervise the space team, including security and cleaning staff, to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and budgeting. Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Legal and Tax Compliance: Work closely with our Chartered Accountant to ensure legal and tax compliance. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations. Assist in the preparation of necessary legal documents and tax filings.
  • HR Management: Handle HR duties including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Program Operations : Support in the organization and execution of various events hosted at TinkerHub, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
  • Document Management: Write, manage, and store necessary documents efficiently. Ensure all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact between TinkerHub and external parties, managing correspondence and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Reporting: Compile and present regular reports on activities, resources, and finances.

Who are we looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, financial, or legal role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malayalam is mandatory.
  • Proficient with office management software like Google Drive.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles, financial management, and legal/tax compliance.
  • Driving licence, preferably having a two wheeler

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position (10 AM - 6 PM). There might be activities during the weekend, makign the holoday during week days.
